Day 9: Since it was a sunday, there was no company visits. Hence, we went for sight seeing! hakka tea plantation
The lady explaining some tea stuff
Frying the tea leaves with bare hands and all of us tried it!
one of my fav pics (again).
beth looks happy. hahaha. she always looks happy though
lingzhi tea Mr kam took a sip and gave up the rest cos.. it's simply TOO bitter.
we then had sample of the tea.
lunch time!
Everyone was so facinated with the pineapple I had half of a pineapple as the gals had their share with us. doesn't taste "siap siap" at all! (the new description I learnt from this trip) it's sweet!
so, after lunch, everyone's like gathering ard the pineapple stall to buy some pineapples
see? there were also many people eating pineapples near the stall. it should REALLY taste good. Even winnie who didn't want to buy, could not resist the temptation ya?
acting like a pregnant lady
later, we went to the place where.. we can get 长命水 xiao deng was like scooping for 38 of us lah! he was joking that he shld charge us for this service everyone's like trying archery. actually I didn't wanna try it -it looks simple, but was scary to me.
tried once. and it was SCARY CAN! unglam stuffs should NOT be further discussed here. LOL
after that,
the entrance
this place IS the place man. As the journey to this place was very long, ALL of our bladders were abt to burst lah.
So upon arrival, abt 50% of us literally RAN to the toilet while the rest walked very quickily. lol the toilet became the first stop we visited.
The house that sun yat sen designed and lived in. No photography were allowed in there.
I asked the personnel there a lot of questions. like for one, I thought Sun Yat Sen converted to a Christian because of Soong Ching Ling, but it was not the case -he was actually a Christian long before he knew her.
Visited the memorial hall. Very amazed by his life.
Of course, I'm most interested in his romance with Soong Ching Ling.
